Saturday 23rd: Monmouthshire Botany Group Walk, in woodland probably Cockshoot Wood/Bishops Barnetts Wood near Chepstow (see below)
Tuesday 26th: Meadow Management for Reptiles at Trellech Wet Meadow. A workshop run for MMG by Plantlife and the ARC Trust. Fully booked

Sunday 3rd: Monmouth Bee Festival, the annual celebration that takes place in and around Nelson Garden and Chippenham Fields in Monmouth. Details on their web site
Sunday 10th: Wye July, a celebration of the river organised by Friends of the Lower Wye, in Monmouth, 11am to 3pm, to be launched with a Samba band procession from Agincourt Square at 10.45am

Monmouthshire Botany Group: Botany Walks
The Botany Group Walks programme is provisional as some venues may be changed. Days start at 10am continuing until about 3-4pm. All days are for helping to improve ID skills and for recording. Booking is essential, contact Steph Tyler by email steph_tyler2001@hotmail.com. Details on BSBI web site
