The MMG 2026 AGM will be held at Llanishan Village Hall, Church Road, NP16 6QE on 16th April. Doors open 6pm for a 6.30pm start. Our guest speakers will be:
Kate Stinchcombe: the environmental benefits of ecological networks
Richard Thomas: an introduction to mapping networks in Monmouthshire
Elliot Waters: the contribution of MMG members to ecological networks
Talks will be followed by dinner. Bookings can be made here.

Thursday 23rd: Grassland Fungi: A Focus on Waxcaps, a joint event with Gwent Wildlife Trust looking at fungi on their New Grove Meadows reserve. Details and bookings on GWT web site

Monmouthshire Botany Group: Botany Walks
The Botany Group Walks programme is provisional as some venues may be changed. Days start at 10am continuing until about 3-4pm. All days are for helping to improve ID skills and for recording. Booking is essential, contact Steph Tyler via MMG. Details on BSBI web site
