Directions
From Twyn Square in Usk follow the signs toward Llantrisant, pass the prison on your left, cross two stone bridges, go under the A449, and take the next left, approximately 2 miles from Usk. Follow the lane for 8/10ths of a mile and turn left at sign for Llanllowell House.
Parking and wheelchair access are available, but please share a car or ride a bike to keep traffic to a minimum.
Experts will be on hand to show you how to make apple and pear juice and cider.
Bring your own bottles (plastic or glass), or you can buy a glass bottle and screw cap for a £1.
Wander around the orchard to see the old apple varieties – Newton Wonder and Blenheim Orange (pictured above)
Ramble in 33 acres of woods and meadows, with stream running through.
