Our annual autumn get-together this year will be on Thursday 18th October at The Priory in Monmouth, 7pm start. This is a great chance to talk to like-minded people, find out more about managing your own grassland, and how other members have fared in this unusual summer.
The theme is establishing new and conserving old wild life rich meadows. There will be illustrated talks by a selection of MMG members about their experiences, trials, tribulations and successes. Sites vary from sections of a country garden to old Monmouthshire hay meadows in farmland.
Everyone is welcome. There will be a buffet and a glass of wine included in the price of £12 for members, £14 for non-members. You are also welcome to come just to the talk.
Book your place (for buffet numbers) by contacting Steph Tyler or Maggie Biss (01989 750740) or by sending a cheque made out to Monmouthshire Meadows Group to Maggie at The Old Rectory, Hope Mansell, Herefordshire HR9 5TL
